September 2011-Rochester, NY-Medford,NY~~We saw bears! Momma and two cubs around 8:30PM, stayed for about ten minutes around the grill & rocks area. Cabin was great! Comfortable, clean and had all the necessary amenities. Went shopping in Wellsboro..charming town. Already planning our next trip...see you next year!
September 2011-Spring Mills, PA~~Enjoyed a great weekend. Loved the rain on our first night. Sounded so good! Drove to Wellsboro and spend several hours biking the Rails to Trails. Steaks tasted great cooked outside. Thanks for not having cable TV so we didn't have to listen to football!!
September 2011-Horsham, PA-Westampton, NJ~~Loved the cabin. Saturday we shopped in Wellsboro, went to the Grand Canyon and had dinner at Antlers. We sat around the fire ring after dark when we were visited by a momma bear and her two cubs. They came right out of the clearing out back. They stayed for several minutes (of course we ran inside). Then they very quietly left the same way they came. Very exciting for us. Sunday rain and lost power but still very relaxing and peaceful weekend. The guys will be back for hunting season.
September 2011-Moorestown, NJ~~Depite the rain we had a wonderful, peaceful visit. Cabin is beautiful! We will be back...saw deer, turkeys, hummingbirds, osprey-no bear.
August 2011-Upper Marlboro, MD~~What a beautiful cabin! It rained on and off for our trip up but the stars were so bright and the sky was clear-magnificient. No wildlife sightings. Would love to venture back in the springtime. We will definately tell our friends about this gem in the woods!
August 2011-Dayton, OH~~Loved the cabin! Saw chipmunks, hummingbirds, 2 deer...we went to the Little League World Series, Wellsboro and PA Grand Canyon. We were on the go so much we didn't get to spend alot of time in the cabin, but we were all impressed by how "fully furnished" it was. Slept better than I have in years!
August 2011-Hummelstown, PA~~We had a very relaxing couple of days. We loved the cabin and the peaceful environment. We saw turkeys, deer, rabbits, hummingbirds and chipmunks. We will certainly be back for some r&r!
August 2011-Glenmoore, PA~~We had a great time enjoying your beautiful cabin. We didn't see any bears, but we did see bear "tracks" in the woods behind the cabin. We saw plenty of turkey, rabbits and one deer. We visited Leonard Harrison State Park, Hills Creek State Park, Animaland, Wellsboro, Mansfield and the Tioga County Fair-the demolition derby was awesome. Thank you for sharing Bear Tracks Cabin, we hope to return soon.
August 2011 - Phoenixville, PA~~This is our second trip to the cabin and still just as relaxing and beautiful as before. We enjoyed the cooler weather and traveled to Niagra Falls, Grand Canyon, Wellsboro and surrounding area. We saw alot of wildlife-turkeys, porcupine, deer, quail and rabbits. What a wonderful time! This cabin is always so maintained and beautifully decorated. It's truly our favorite place. A great place to enjoy nature at it's best, the way it should be-natural, peaceful and just beautiful. Something not everyone gets to see and enjoy today. Thanks for the hard work and time put into this cabin-it gives such pleasure to so many people.
August 2011 - Glenside, PA~~Such a cute & comfortable cabin! We all had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings! We visited the PA Grand Canyon and went on a nice hike. One day it was raining so we went to the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, NY-very interesting and fun! We also went to Cedar Run Inn for a nice dinner and highly recommend it. We also made smores on the fire pit one night. Very cool.
July 2011 - Biglerville & Orrtanna, PA~~When you see pictures on the internet, the actual place is usually not as nice. We were pleasantly surprised that not only were the pictures accurate, but this cabin far exceeded what we were expecting! Love the decor! Very nice cabin! However, would not suggest coming here when it's 100 plus if you're one who's used to central air! Thank you for sharing your cabin with us!
July 2011 - Ephrata, PA~~We enjoyed your wonderful cabin in the woods. Very peaceful and quiet. We saw 4 deer and 1 turkey with eight to ten chicklets. Thanks again!
July 2011 - Harveys Lake, PA~~July 4th weekend was very relaxing. Did do some quading and went to Mansfield for the fireworks, they were amazing! The weekend of the 15th we came up for the New York Wine Festival, and had a great time. It's nice to see a grown man as happy as a little boy when he goes for a pace car ride! We highly recommend going to Mansfield on Rt. 15 to a little restaurant called Gramma's. They make the most awesome pies..I replanted the marigolds on the picnic table many times because "Chippy" kept throwing all the dirt out to get the water in the bottom, funny to watch him! Both weekends were terrific, we can't wait to come back to our home away from home!
July 2011 - Lexington, OH~~We had a great time! We loved Blossburg. We even got the chance to ride a train at Tioga Central Station which was very fun! Thank you so much!
June 2011 - Middletown, PA~~We love this place. Our "favorite" cabin-our second visit. Wish we could come more often. Weather not great but moth hunting was still a success due to the covered porch. As usual, clean, well stocked, beautiful and always welcoming cabin. Thanks for sharing it.
June 2011 - Grove City, FL~~This is my third vacation at your beautiful cabin. First year I saw a deer while looking out the side window, second year I saw a black bear eating by the side of the road. This year I feel very lucky. I saw two beautiful deer, a bear and two bunnies, plus I heard many birds singing as I sat on the porch. I sure will be back.
June 2011 - Carlisle, PA-Mechanicsburg, PA~~What a beautiful cabin! Everything was so clean and welcoming. Loved the bear motif! Visited the PA Grand Canyon, Wellsboro Diner (delicious & very friendlly service) and the Rattlesnake Round-up in Morris. Perfect weather all 4 days. Didn't see any bears unfortunately, but saw some other wildlife. Overall, a wonderful vacation and we will definately be back next year! Thank you and GO STEELERS!

March 2011 - Pequea, PA~~We had a great time here and we went to the Maple Syrup places. We got lost on the way, but other than that it was awesome and the cabin was perfect. Be back in the summer of 2011. Thank you for building this nice cabin.
March 2011 - Morgantown, West Virginia~~We really liked the cabin and we spent alot of time down by the fire...we didn't see a bear, but we saw some wildlife on the roads around here. The Grand Canyon was alot of fun and we recommend the "Turkey Trail" if you want to see a good waterfall.
February 2011 - Mechanicsburg, PA~~The cabin was ideal for our winter "vacation". It is so peaceful-quiet, not to mention cozy. We had the chance to see the PA Grand Canyon at it's winter best-snow covered! Shopped in Wellsboro and found a new microbrewry called York Holo in Mansfield-great atmosphere. A Home Away from Home. Hope to return-thank you!
February 2011 - Thompsontown, PA~~We heard about your cabin through friends of ours whom have visited here twice before. We decided this would be a perfect place to have a winter getaway...and we were right! We can't say enough great things about your cabin...thank you so much for opening it up for others to take in it's beauty! We will be back for sure!

Dec. 2010 - Prime Hook Beach, DE~~What a perfect cabin to spend our holiday break! All the comforts of home...this far exceeded our expectations! Scenery was great, some snow and tons of animal tracks. We enjoyed the campfire and even saw a few shooting stars. Thank you for a wonderful restful stay!
Dec. 2010 - Philadelphia, PA~~We had a great time this weekend. It was difficult to find in the dark, but we found it! It was nice to experience nature like this. We didn't see a bear, but we saw a rabbit! We'll definately come again.
Nov. 2010 - Cochranville, PA~~Picture perfect setting for our Thanksgiving Holiday. Even woke up to a coating of snow-just like in the movies. The "girls & grandsons" are leaving to allow our men to their "guy time" to deer hunt. We look forward to our return stay.
Nov. 2010 - The Woodlands, TX~~The cabin is very nice, we really liked it alot. It is also extremely well equipped and very comfortable. The bird hunting was good in the county close by...we also spent time west of Wellsboro and had a nice lunch at the Wellsboro Diner.
Oct. 2010 - Port Royal, PA~~This was our 2nd stay at Bear Tracks Cabin and it was just as cozy as our first visit. Visited the PA Grand Canyon & walked around Wellsboro. Got to see more wildlife this time! Still no bear though! The cabin is such a great place to "get away from it all"! Again, thank you for sharing your cabin! We will be back in the Spring.
Oct. 2010 - Springfield, PA~~Wow! What a wonderful, comfy, cozy cabin. We had an awesome time! We spent most of our time outside entertaining the kids with campfires and nature walks. We didn't see much wildlife (only 2 deer while driving). Took a trip to the PA Grand Canyon..we loved it here and will be back again. Thank you & may God bless all who stay here!
Oct. 2010 - Williamsport, PA~~Wow, wow, wow. The cabin is absolutely beautiful! Came here for our honeymoon. Had dinner at Timeless Destination, very good. Also went to Corning Museum of Glass. Last day we're heading to Wellsboro and the Grand Canyon. Had a wonderful stay. Will be back again!
Oct. 2010 - W. Conshohocken, Plymouth Mtg., Horsham, PA~~We had a wonderful time. Your cabin is beautiful and so homey. We like the Pine Creek Gorge and saw a bear there. Had a nice dinner at "Timeless Destination" and watched the Phillies at "83 Main". Love the "bear" theme, cabin is spotless and just so relaxing. Hope to come back again. Thanks for sharing.
Oct. 2010 - Butler, PA-Erie, PA-State College, PA-Hartford, VT~~What a beautiful cozy cabin, the decor is wonderful...the kids went to Rickets Glen State Park to hike to all 23 waterfalls. Grandma & Grandpa loved watching the 10 month old walking all throughout the cabin. We enjoyed our many varieties of Mt. pies all weekend...went to the Blossburg Fall Festival Sunday, the boys entered the hot dog eating contest and won..nice hayride throughout town. Monday went to Grand Canyon & Hills Creek State Park...was very impressed by how at home the cabin makes you feel. I thoroughly enjoyed having all the boys together for family time. Thank you so much for a wonderful place!
Oct. 2010 - Quarryville, PA~~We are back! We came for a birthday/anniversary getaway. Just like the first time it felt like home. We love this place, it is so relaxing. Did not see a bear this time but many deer. We went to the Steak House in Wellsboro for dinner, it was great! Thank you so much for a great week!

Sept. 2010 - New Providence, PA~~Again this year we had a great time at "Bear Tracks"-and the nearby attractions. Ventured to Corning, Animaland and PA Grand Canyon. Beautiful weather for all of those travels. The balance of the time we just "chilled" around the cabin, enjoying the peace and quiet and the nature walk around the circle. Wildlife report-2 chipmunks, 2 deer (on Mt. Ridge Rd) and a flock of turkeys-no bears! Thanks for everything!
Sept. 2010 - Myerstown, PA~~"Shangri La"-we found you at last! - snuggled in the woods-a beautiful cabin-so clean, cozy, and tastefully decorated (loved all the bears)-welcoming us the moment we arrived. The wildlife did not make their appearance, but we still enjoyed the healing powers of nature. Just loved the deck and being outside. How blessed and thankful we are to have been here-our haven in the woods for but a few days. Can't wait to come back.
Sept. 2010 - Landisburg, PA~~Very nice, clean cabin. Had a great time here enjoying the quiet on our honeymoon. Went to Tioga Trailride and had a blast. Didn't see any bear but we saw deer, turkey and opossum. Also porcupine. Hated the long pothole filled road. Can't wait to come back with the family for a stay.
Sept. 2010 - New Providence, PA-Little Britain, PA~~Felt like home as soon as we arrived. Wow, what a nice place, very peaceful. We put over 100 miles on our fourwheelers. The wind mills are awesome. We went out to dinner in Wellsboro Friday night, Saturday night did not want to leave so we had hot dogs on sticks over the fire and smores for dessert. We were glad we did not go out as we had a dinner guest, a bear from behind the cabin walked across the stones, looked around for a minute then disappeared back into the trees. What a thrill it was. Got some pictures from the deck. What great memories we made as a family just sitting around the fire. Please leave a light on for us as we will come back to Bear Tracks.
